The Sexual Human Development Council is an organization of dedicated volunteer professionals working collaboratively to promote progress in key areas of constitutional government, marriage /family policy and culture gaps, religious liberty and engagement. Our direct aim is to strengthen the institution of marriage.
We are 100% volunteer, collect no fees, and are privately funded to ensure equitable access for the people of the world seeking to obtain and maintain strong marriages, and leaders seeking to support such efforts.
We seek to strengthen the "sinews of sexuality" for people everywhere to enable resilient marriages, that will result in strengthening families and society, alleviating the loneliness public health crisis.
We provide customized regional reports that identify invisible barriers to marriage, intimacy and family, which also prevent individuals from accessing religious engagement.
Additionally, we provide marriage, sexuality, and mental health resources to ensure individuals can have equitable access to information which will enable them to achieve healthy marriage relationships.
These resources are provided together with recommendations on how to mobilize strategic efforts regionally to strengthen the institution of marriage internationally.
We meet individually with leaders and organizers to identify the key issues being faced regionally and advise on best strategies and custom resources as needed.
Our core focus includes:
- Research & International Reports on Neurodiverse Populations: We partner with scholars and professionals to conduct research and analyses to develop culturally, racially, gender, and disability-sensitive reports that provide effective recommendations for family life policies, public education campaigns, leadership training, and directions for research efforts in academia to enhance such efforts.
- Sexuality and Pornography Resilience Education: Using science-based approaches, we address barriers to marriage and family formation while promoting resilience in international cultural settings and within religious organizations.
- Comparative Legal Examination: Our team conducts in-depth legal analyses to identify and mitigate barriers to family formation across different countries, both internationally and within the United States, in connection with social science research.
- Public Relations and Public Health Campaigns: We work closely with religious organizations to disseminate public education through modern, engaging campaigns, utilizing social media and civil engagement. We partner with global entities like the United Nations and local democratic organizations to further our mission.
